At March 24 sitting, the Chair of the NA Accounting Committee Vahagn Hovakimyan informed that Arsen Mkrtchyan was elected a judge of the Court of Cassation. 77 deputies voted for him, 11 deputies for Armen Haykyants. 102 MPs out of 132 took part in voting.
The judge of the Court of Cassation was elected by secret ballot, by at least three fifth of the votes of the deputies’ total number.
